Practice restraint.

  2. Applying a cow halter.
  3. Applying ropes for casting a cow: Rueff's method.
  4. Demonstrate and practice wearing a mouth gag.

Practice/demonstration of physical examination and basic procedures.

  1. Practice/demonstration of physical examination and basic procedures. 
  2. Demonstration and practice of inserting a thermometer into the anus. (The half of the cow)
  3. Demonstration and practice in feeling the pulse location at the base of the tail (Middle coccygeal Artery).

Practice doing basic procedures.

  1. Practice techniques for feeding tablets/liquids Drugs.
  2. Practice wrapping gauze bandages/ medical bandages.
  3. Practice splinting or casting techniques.

Practice intramuscular injections. (IM)

  1. Practice vaccinations, injecting drugs into the neck muscles. There is a section where you can practice giving injections into the muscles in the neck and hip area.

Practice intravenous injections. (IV)

  1. Demonstration and practice Inject the drug into the left jugular vein.
  2. Demonstration and practice Injecting the drug into a vein in the right side of  the neck (Right Jugular vein)

Practice drawing blood.

  1. Demonstration and practice Drawing blood samples from the left side of the neck. (Left Jugular vein)

  3. Practice drawing blood at Coccygeal Vein

Practice giving intravenous fluids.

Practice giving oxygen through nose.

  1. Demonstration and practice of inserting an oxygen tube into the left and right nasal canal.

Practice inserting a breathing tube. (endotracheal tube).

  1. Demonstration and practice of inserting a tracheal tube (endotracheal tube) into the upper trachea to anesthetize.

Practicing Rhinoscopy to examine the nasal cavity.

  1. Demonstration and practice of using a Rhinoscopy to examine the nasal cavity (left and right nasal cavity).

Practicing endoscopy to examine the esophagus and stomach.

  1. Demonstration and practice of inserting an endoscope to examine the upper esophagus.

Training in advanced procedures.

  1. Practice inserting an Gastroscopy/Endoscope to examine the reticulum of the stomach. (Only B)
  2. Practice inserting the Gastric Tube into both nostrils to fill medicine. (Only A & B)
  3. Practice inserting a Gastric Tube to release gas in the rumen. (Only A & B)

Training in special procedures.

  1. Demonstration and practice of puncture Epidural block. (A B & C)
  2. Can practice rectal examination To examine the female reproductive system, such as the uterus and ovaries. (B & C and The half of the cow)
  3. Can be used to practice artificial insemination of females (AI). (B & C and The half of the cow)
  4. There is a structure of the female udder used to practice Intramammary Drug Administration in the udder of cows. (A B & C and The half of the cow & the Cow udder)
  5. The organs within the chest include the trachea, esophagus, lungs, heart, and diaphragm. (Only B )
  6. The top back can be opened to be able to see internal organs.(The internal organs include the trachea, lungs, heart, diaphragm, esophagus, compound stomach, small intestine, large intestine, spleen, liver, pancreas, kidney, bladder, uterus, ovaries, and pelvic bones). (Only B )
  7. Able to probe the anus to practice examining internal organs at the hind part of the body. (Only B )
