 Practice restraint

1. Practice wearing a mouth guard or a Muzzle.
2. Can be used to practice wearing a collar/choke chain/leash/chest strap.
3. Can be used to practice wearing a Dog collar.
4. Can be used to practice how to restrain animals in a lateral (side-lying) position.

Practice/demonstration of physical examination, positioning for X-rays, and basic procedures.

1. Practice physical examination procedures.
2. Demonstration and practice of inserting a thermometer into the anus.
3. Demonstration and practice of feeling the pulse in the groin area (Femoral artery)
4. Practice positioning for X-rays procedures.

Practice doing basic procedures

1. Demonstration and practice of ear cleaning procedures.
2. Practice techniques for feeding tablets/liquids Drugs.
3. Practice wrapping medical gauze/bandages.
4. Practice splinting or casting techniques.

Practice intramuscular injections. (IM)

1.  Demonstration and practice Injection into the muscles of the front leg (Triceps brachii) and muscles of the hind leg (Caudal thigh muscles: Biceps femoris, Semitendinosus and Semimembranosus)

Practice intravenous injections (IV)

1. Demonstration and practice Injecting the drug into a vein in the left side of the neck (Left Jugular vein)
2. Demonstration and practice Injecting the drug into a vein in the right side of  the neck (Right Jugular vein)
3. Demonstration and practice Inject the drug into the left front leg vein (Left cephalic vein).
4. Demonstration and practice Inject the drug into the right front leg vein (Right cephalic vein).
5. Demonstration and practice Inject the drug into the left hind leg vein (Left Lateral saphenous vein).
6. Demonstration and practice Inject the drug into the right hind leg vein (Right Lateral saphenous vein).

Practice drawing blood

1. Demonstration and practice Drawing blood samples from the left side of the neck (Left Jugular vein)
2. Demonstration and practice Drawing blood samples from the right side of the neck (Right Jugular vein)
3. Demonstration and practice of collecting blood samples from the front left leg (Left Cephalic vein)

Practice giving intravenous fluids.

Practice inserting a breathing tube. (endotracheal tube)

1. Demonstration and practice of inserting a tracheal tube (endotracheal tube) into the upper trachea to anesthetize.

Practicing endoscopy to examine the nasal cavity.

1. Demonstration and practice of using a rhinoscope to examine the nasal cavity (left and right nasal cavity).

Practicing endoscopy to examine the esophagus and stomach.

1. Demonstration and practice of inserting an endoscope to examine the upper esophagus (esophagus).

Training in advanced procedures.

1. Demonstration and practice in rescuing sick animals.(CPR)
2. Demonstration and practice of inserting a gastroscope to examine the stomach (stomach).
3.  Practice inserting Feeding Tube(feeding through a Feeding Tube).
4.  Practice inserting a Gastic lavage tube.
5.  Practice gastric lavage in case of ingesting toxic substances.
6. Practice techniques for feeding radiopaque powder. (Barium Sulfate)
7. Practice techniques for injecting dye into the bladder.
8. Demonstration and practice of inserting a male urinary catheter.
9. Demonstration and practice of inserting a female urinary catheter.

Training in special procedures

1. Demonstration and practice of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) puncture.
2. Demonstration and practice of puncture Epidural block.
3. Demonstration of assisted birth
4. Demonstration and practice of puncturing to suck fluids in the thoracic cavity.
